1. Realize there is a problem due to your own inaction.
2. Do everything to fix the problem.
3. Instruct everyone on what to do so the problem doesn’t happen again.
4. Assume that everyone listened and will follow through on their instructions.
5. Realize no one followed through on their instructions, problem is now exacerbated.
6. Ignore problem because you don’t feel like dealing with it.
7. Return to step 1.
